I'm Back

Back at the site. This year I was greeted by Grandma's lilacs in full bloom.

Lilacs west of where original house stood
South edge of the yard, notice the white flowers
The white flowers and lilacs

Asparagus surrounded by weeds
The flowers from her garden survived, both those relocated and those left behind. No flowers yet, but the plants are looking healthy.

  1. The white flowers are white lilacs. I remembered seeing them there, so I am glad to have my memory vindicated. They definitely look like they're being crowded out by the purple ones, though. We'll have to do some judicious pruning.

The asparagus looks excellent. You should be able to harvest a few of the spring tips next year!
